Fourth of July Jubilee
July 4, 2019
We envision the Jubilee to be a day-long event, from sunrise services to evening fireworks. All the major parks in the City will be made available for festivities. The Bicentennial Committee wants to offer the clubs, organizations, businesses, neighborhoods, and residents an opportunity to create a celebration that reflects their interests. Parades, cookouts, games, contests, and displays can all be part of the Bicentennial Jubilee and of course, the City will provide a grand fireworks display, entertainment, food, and activities at Weiss Field in the evening.
There are many annual events currently celebrated in the City of Avon Lake where a Bicentennial component will be added. Anyone interested in adding their event to the Bicentennial Celebration let us know.
