Hike Into History
June 9, 2019 @ 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Early settlers on Erie’s shore were resourceful people who had to make the most of nature to survive. Bring the family and hike or bike to visit different stations along the trails and learn about building log cabins; making, dying, and washing clothes; farming; early first aid; tending animals; and how settlers protected themselves. This event is suited to all ages, and accommodates those who enjoy walking, bike riders, and children in strollers. More details ahead!
